Maths at the Academy

We had a great day today with the Year 3's at Stalham Academy.  We had four stories and then did Maths investigations and activities about the stories. Miss Wones chose one of her favourite Maths books, '365 Penguins.'

We tried to arrange the Penguins in pyramids like Dad did in the story.

Can anyone remember the triangular numbers we found? Could 61 penguins make a pyramid?
