Golden Mile

On Thursday, Kate came in to see how we were getting on with our Golden Mile training.  We could ALL run for 3 minutes!  Kate said the girls worked as a brilliant team with Molly as their pace setter.  She said it was the BEST team effort she had seen in over 50 schools!  Wow!

 

 

 

Busy, busy, busy...

This week we have been telling the time, trying especially hard to remember quarter past and quarter to.

Some of us have also been looking at compound words - two words that can be put together to make a new word.

Finally, everyday I am greeted by these wonderful flowers - thank you all SO much - you are lovely!

Science Club

Some of us took our fingerprints today in Science Club and discovered what patterns we had. It was a bit messy!

 

 

 

Road Safety Show

The whole school were treated to a road safety show with Olly Day this morning.  We learnt how to stay safe on our bicycles, in the car and when we are walking. 

 

 

Glorious sunshine!

This afternoon after lots of writing this morning and solving money problems, we spent time enjoying the sunshine outside!  We have planted runner beans and hope they grow in our sunny window.
